2023 Move United Education Conference
The Move United Education Conference invites sport professionals, sport providers and athletes to come together for informative education & awareness sessions and hands-on skills-based learning workshops. The 2023 Move United Education Conference provides the tools, training, and conversations to make disability inclusion in sport a reality. This conference will incite action and challenge attendees to make an impact around inclusion, access & belonging.
Join your fellow professionals and emerging leaders in the in the sport and recreation industry who are currently creating or are looking to create opportunities for athletes with disabilities. Historically, attendees have represented a variety of affiliations including Move United member organizations, general sport organizations, city parks & recreation departments, national-governing bodies, educators, university faculty, VA hospital staff, general hospital therapists, disability resource groups, and more.
This year’s theme, “Disability Inclusion in Sport: Transforming Intent to Action” invites sport providers, sport professionals, and athletes to come together over a mutual interest in elevating sport opportunities for athletes with disabilities. Discussion will center around affecting measurable change and creating longstanding impact in adaptive sports.
This vendor opportunity is available to organizations with resources and/or equipment that positively contribute to the adaptive sport space. The Move United Education conference is a unique opportunity to reach a targeted audience that has needs in the disability and recreation sectors. One of the nation’s largest education events for adaptive sport providers, attendees include sport providers, therapists, educators, National Governing Bodies, medical professionals, athletes with disabilities (from beginner through elite), clinicians, volunteers, and winter sports instructors. Vendor Fee: $800 (Non-Profit Discount – $600)
Move United Education Conference Vendors will receive:
- (1) 6 ft. display table Tuesday 5/16/2023 – Wednesday 5/17/2023. If your equipment requires additional space, please note you will be able asked to pay for the additional “table” space onsite. Event check in is 5/15/2023.
- Company listed on event app and on event website
- Opportunity to promote attendance at event.
- Opportunity to include item in event goody bag
- 1 Complimentary Event Registration
Vendor requirements:
- Meet the following insurance requirements:
- Name Move United, 451 Hungerford Drive Suite 608, Rockville MD 20850 as an additional insured for the duration of the event (5/16/2022-5/17/2022) and provide a certificate of insurance as evidence of the required coverage by Arpil 1, 2023. Having insurance will help protect your company should a claim arise for something that occurs while participants are using your equipment. Please keep a copy of your company’s proof of insurance certificate available for the duration of the event.
- Provide Move United with proof of Commercial General Liability Insurance with not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence limit including: Coverage for Bodily Injury, Property Damage, Personal and Advertising Injury, Products-Completed Operations and not less than $2,000,000 General Aggregate Limit.
- Vendors failing to provide the required proof of Commercial General Liability Insurance by the April 1, 2023 deadline will not be able to demonstrate their equipment during the 2023 Move United Education Conference.

April 15 This annual gala has raised funds to support 16,000 wounded warfighters and family members who have participated in more than 70 adaptive sports across the U.S.A. More than 50 wounded warfighters and family members will participate in our gala this year, including sharing their stories on stage. This is a gala like no other - Please join us and honor our wounded warfighters!
