Northeast Disabled Athletic Association (Ndaa) offers adaptive kayaking from June to October throughout Vermont and upstate New York for people with disabilities to enjoy the independence of paddling under their own power, together with their family and friends. Led on-site by a physical therapist, trained volunteers assist with the program. We have adaptive equipment – including stabilizing outriggers, high-back seats, a variety of transfer techniques, and adaptive paddles for people with significant upper-body limitations. Participants must pre-register and are screened to assess individual needs. Weekly outings at Waterbury Center State Park home base.
