Lessons and Free Clinics

Lessons

December 9-13, 2024

Open to participants with disabilities at all ability levels, lessons are taught by instructors certified through Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI).

  • Participants MUST pre-register. No on-site registrations will be accommodated
  • Half-day lesson (2.5 hours) price $60
  • Lessons start at 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Lesson price does NOT include a lift ticket. Participants can opt to pre-purchase lift tickets during online registration (lift tickets are $87/day)
  • Adaptive equipment is not included in lesson price. Sit-down equipment available for rental as part of lessons for $100/day. Stand up skiers and snowboarders must provide their own equipment.
  • Students must arrive on time to lessons. Anyone arriving more than 15 minutes late may have his or her lesson cancelled
  • All participants must meet these program requirements: Essential Eligibility Criteria & Event Ski and Snowboard Policies and Guidelines

*Helmets must be worn by ALL attendees while on the slopes

 

Free Clinics

Sled Hockey 

  • Sled Hockey clinic will take place Tuesday, December 10, 2024
    • Time: 1:30 – 3:00 PM (may arrive early to get fitted for equipment)
    • Location: Stephen C West Ice Area; 189 Boreas Pass Rd, Breckenridge, CO 80424
  • Equipment and instruction is provided. Dress warmly and wear appropriate close-toed footwear 
  • Shuttle runs from Beaver Run Resort Lobby to the Stephen C. West Ice Arena. Check the event app and on-site posting for departure times and additional details.

Yoga

  • Yoga clinic details will be finalized by September 2024
  • Equipment and instruction is provided. Dress appropriately for activity.
  • Check the event app for additional details.

Cost: Free

 

Nordic/Biathlon

  • The Nordic/Biathlon clinic will unfortunately not be offered in 2024
