PSIA-AASI Rocky Mountain Exams:

PSIA-AASI Rocky Mountain is will be hosting the following exams in Breckenridge, CO following the Ski Spectacular Instructor Academy. Note that these exams are separate from The Hartford Ski Spectacular and therefore registration for these exams is separate from registration for The Hartford Ski Spectacular. Adaptive Snowboard: Cog/VI Level 1 Assessment

Pre-Requisites

To ensure a safe and productive learning environment for all, clinics have specific pre-requisite skill requirements. Prior to registering for clinics, please note the course levels and ensure you meet the pre-requisite skill levels in the descriptors. Clinicians may dismiss an attendee if they are not able to demonstrate the minimum skills required for the course.

Fees and Scholarships

2025 Scholarship – for Move United Member organization affiliates

Deadline to apply: August 13th, 2025

Scholarship recipients will receive the following (valued at over $888 per scholarship):

  • Event registration, goody bag, & lift tickets
  • 20+ hours of training on-snow & in the classroom by leading industry experts
  • Move United Member Organizations may nominate up to 2 recipients whom must provide at least 25 hours of adaptive snowsport lessons to disabled veterans per season or aspire to earn PSIA-AASI, NCTRC, & CARSS CEUs at no cost!

Price does NOT include a lift ticket. Participants can opt to pre-purchase lift tickets during online registration (lift tickets are $96/day)

Registration Policies

  • Clinic registration is on a first-come, first-serve, basis and space is limited. Register early to ensure your first choice of clinics. Most clinics will reach capacity prior to event.
  • If clinic attendance is insufficient when registration closes, the clinic will be canceled and you will be notified immediately.
  • There is no waitlist for full clinics. However, spaces may become available if participants cancel. You can check the clinic again at a different time to see if a space has become available. All fees must be paid in full prior to/within 24 hours of participation in a clinic. You may choose to be on Stand By at the clinic meeting location in order to attend in the clinic in the event of a no-show. Please note, being on Stand By does not guarantee you will be able to attend the clinic! 
  • The event registration fee ($65 early rate, $85 regular rate, $95 on-site) is nonrefundable. All other costs or fees (race camp, lessons, SSIA courses, sit-ski rental, lift tickets, banquet tickets) are nonrefundable once the event registration closes on October 31, 2025 (this includes refunds for sicknesses).

Continuing Education Credits

Attendance is taken at the beginning and end of the clinic. To receive credit, you must be marked present on the roster and attend the entire clinic.

    • PSIA-AASI: SSIA Clinics half day = 3, full day = 6. Please confirm your PSIA-AASI Member ID during check-in if you wish to receive Continuing Education Units. Move United will report clinic attendance to PSIA-AASI’s national office by January 30, 2024. Please contact your local PSIA-AASI division directly with questions about CEU requirements and conversions.
    • BlazeSports America Institute for Adaptive Sports and Recreation: Certified Adaptive Recreation & Sports Specialist (formerly Certified Disability Sports Specialist) earn CEUs for their attendance at clinics pending CARSS CE Pre-Approval.  Certificates will be distributed via email post-event for attendees who request CARSS CEUs.
    • NCTRC: Select sessions are pre-approved for CEUs. Certificates will be distributed via email post-event for attendees who request NCTRC CEUs.

What to Bring

  • All attendees must provide their own equipment.
  • Lift tickets are NOT included with the clinic fees.
  • Coin operated lockers and overnight ski storage are available for a fee in the ski check by the lift ticket window.
  • If adaptive equipment is used in a clinic it will be provided.
